BedBugTreatmentSterlingHeights.com refers callers to providers; it is not a pest control company. This policy describes the information collected when you visit the site or call the referral line, who receives it and your choices. It also sets out the main terms for using the site.
Information We Collect
When you call the referral line, the call-tracking service records your phone number, the call time and length, and your ZIP area. Calls may be recorded. If you email the site, your message and address are kept only so a reply can be sent.
As you browse, the hosting provider automatically keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of each request. The host uses them to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How We Use Information
Call details are used to put you in touch with an independent local provider serving your area. The provider who answers receives your phone number and ZIP area to talk with you about inspection and treatment.
Server logs help run the site, fix problems and stop abuse. Call records help show that the referral line is working for people calling from Sterling Heights. Personal information is never sold.
Cookies and Analytics
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics tools, advertising pixels or similar tracking technologies. Nothing is saved on your device to remember your visits, preferences or the pages you viewed.
Should that change, this policy will be updated beforehand to say which tools are used and why. You can set your browser to refuse cookies at any time, and the site and call button will still work normally.
Call Tracking and Call-Backs
Calls to the listed number go through a call-tracking service that routes each call to an independent provider and may record it. The provider who answers receives your number and ZIP area. Calls are connected 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern Time (8 a.m. to 2 a.m. during daylight saving time).
If you use the request form on this site, what you enter is sent to LeadSmart, the lead partner that operates the form, and to an independent local provider. The consent wording and privacy terms LeadSmart provides apply to that form.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
Personal information is never sold, rented or traded. It is shared only as set out above: with the call-tracking service, with the provider who takes your call, and with LeadSmart if you use the request form.
Information can also be released when required by law, to protect the safety or rights of this site or other people, or if the site changes hands. Only what is lawful and necessary is shared.
Terms of Using This Site
This site provides information and referrals only and does not carry out pest control work. Each provider is a separate, independent business. All contractors are independent and this site does not warrant or guarantee any work performed.
No promise is given about provider availability, timing or cost. As far as the law allows, this site is not liable for any loss arising from its use or from work a provider does.
Data Retention and Security
Reasonable measures protect information from unauthorized access, loss or misuse. Server logs and call records are held only for as long as running the service and meeting legal duties require.
No method of sending or storing data is fully secure. Providers, LeadSmart and the call-tracking service each hold their own records under their own policies. Questions about your data can go to the contact details below.
User Rights
You may ask what personal information this site holds about you, request a copy, and ask that it be corrected or deleted. You may also ask that it not be used for certain purposes.
To make a request, email [email protected]. Requests receive a reply within a reasonable time.
Children's Privacy
This site and its referral line are intended for adults. Personal information from children under 13 is not knowingly collected. If you think a child has shared information, send a request so it can be removed.
Should it emerge that information from a child under 13 was collected, it will be deleted promptly.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may change from time to time as the way the site works, or the law, changes. Each new version will be posted on this page and will carry a new effective date.
Please check this page now and then. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated policy. These terms are governed by Michigan law.
